You’ll need:

125g of yarn (60% mohair, 40% silk; 300m/25g);

Knitting needles 4.

Size: 99,5 cm x 104 cm.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multipled 17 + 1 + 2 selvedge sts. Start from the 7th st before the right arrow on the scheme.

Repeat the pattern of 17 sts between arrows, finish with 13th st after the left arrow.

Make 1st-4th rows in height.

Stitches control: 22,5 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 122 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 1 row (WS) with knit sts. Continue work with relief pattern. In 179 rows (about 77 cm) from the beginning of work, cast on 102 sts for the hood along the right edge. Make relief pattern on all the sts. There are 122 sts left.

In 179 rows (about 77 cm) from the end of hood, bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Make a seam on the hood. Cut 55 threads of mohair yarn 74 cm long each. Join them to the corner of work as tassel. It’s length is 33 cm, i.e., fold the threads in half.
