How to Knit with 100% Acrylic Yarn


You’ll Need:
About 200g of 100% acrylic yarn;
Circle knitting needles 6;
Stitch markers.
Size:
Length: 40 cm,
Width: 27 cm,
Rib diameter at bottom part: 13 cm.
Stitches Control:
24 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 48 sts. Turn to knitting around. Place marker in the connecting place. Make 5 cm with 2 x 2 rib.
Turn to relief pattern and work 10 cm according to the following scheme:
Pattern Instructions:
1st row: * 2 knit sts, 1 knit st through lower loop, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to end of row;
2nd row: * purl 2 together, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to end of row;
3rd row: * 3 knit sts, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to end of row;
4th row: * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 2 knit sts through lower loop, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to end of row.
After that, start making increases: 1 st x 8 from both sides of the marker in every 4th row. You should get 64 sts.
Continue working according to the relief pattern as previously described for 30 cm more. Then, start making decreases: 1 st x 2 in every 2nd row. There will be 60 sts left. Make rib for 10 cm.
