Knitting Instructions for a Beautiful Scarf with Relief Pattern


You’ll Need:
125g of sectional coloring (48% wool, 18% mohair, the rest – synthetics; 137m/25g);
Knitting needles size 5.
Size:
30 x 190 cm.Used Patterns:
Relief pattern: the quantity of stitches is multiplied by 8 + 2 selvedge stitches. Work according to the scheme, where only right-side rows are stated; make wrong-side rows according to the ornament, yarn overs – as purls.
Start with stitches before the 1st arrow, repeat the pattern of 8 stitches between arrows, and finish with stitches after the 2nd arrow.
Two pattern repeats are stated in the scheme. Repeat the 1st-20th rows x 20 times = 400 rows. Then, knit the 401st-430th rows once.
Stitches Control:
18.5 stitches x 22.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.Instructions:
Cast on 58 stitches and make 1 row with purls. Continue working with the relief pattern. Make the pattern repeat 7 times in width. When your scarf reaches 190 cm (431 rows), bind off the stitches. Stretch the finished work on pattern design, wet it, and let it dry.
