You’ll need:

400 (500) 600g of green Golf yarn (100% mercerized cotton; 125m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 3,5;

Crochet hook 3.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

Relief pattern (8 sts wide): due to the scheme 2, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows due to the ornament, yarn overs – as purls. Repeat 1st-16th rows;

Relief pattern with cables (16 sts wide): due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows due to the ornament, yarn overs – as purls. Repeat 1st-12th rows;

Row with holes: 1 selvage st, 2 knit sts, * knit2tog, 1 yarn over, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to *.

Stitches control: relief pattern and stockinette stitch: 23,5 sts x 35,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern with cables: 26,5 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Front/Back

Cast on 140 (156) 172 sts and make 1 cm of rib, increase 1 st in the last row. Then, work with relief pattern between selvage sts, for skirt chamfer, make 2 x purl2tog in the stripes of wrong-side pattern in every 13 cm = 18 (20) 22 decreased sts in every decrease row and once in 13 cm in the middle 10 (12) 14 stripes of wrong-side pattern, making purl with the next st together as knit st = 95 (105) 115 sts. In 40 cm from rib, make 2 cm of stockinette stitch, in 1 cm make row with holes. Then, make relief pattern with cables between selvage sts, starting form arrow A (B) C, increase 13 (13) 11 sts in the 1st row. In 10 cm from patterns change, bind off 1 x 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row. At the same time, divide your work for V-shape neck-hole in half and bind off 1 (3) 4 x 2 sts and 24 (23) 23 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 17 (18) 19 cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off the rest sts of shoulder.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten the neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”. For the cord, make a chain of 120 (130) 140 chain sts and fasten it with 1 row of single crochets. Insert the cord in the row with holes.
