You’ll Need:

100g of 100% cotton (400m/100g);

80g of the same yarn, but in turquoise color;

Odds of red yarn;

Crochet hook 2;

Metal anchor for decoration.

Size

2-4 months.

Instructions

Cardigan

Back

Make 28 pattern repeats with white yarn due to the scheme 1, matching with pattern design.

Right Front

Make a chain of 14 pattern repeats due to the scheme 1 with white yarn. Make 2 rows, then, work * 1 row of double crochets with turquoise yarn, 1 row of pattern due to the scheme 1 with white yarn*; repeat from * to * x 3 times. Then, work with white yarn, matching with pattern design.

Left Front

Make in the same way as right front, but with turquoise yarn.

Sleeves

Work due to the scheme 1 with turquoise yarn, matching with pattern design. Make another scheme in the same way, alternating the colors of stripes in the same way as for right front.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Sew up the sleeves. Fasten neck-hole, front and bottom with 1 row of single crochets (white front – with turquoise yarn, turquoise yarn – with white yarn). Twist cord for straps and connect it with the help of front. Sew anchor to the left front.

Hat

Bottom

Make 5 chain sts and circle them in the ring. Make 11 double crochets in the center of the ring. Then, work due to the scheme 2, change the color of yarn due to the scheme. Then, make 5 rows of filet net with white yarn and 5 rows with turquoise yarn. Finish your work with 1 row of single crochets. Make a flotation ring due to the scheme 3 and sew it to the hat.

Baby Mittens

Make 5 chain sts with white yarn and circle them in the ring. Make 12 double crochets in the center of the ring. Then, work due to the scheme 4. Then, make 5 rows of double crochets and 6 rows of 1 x 1 rib (1 fpdc and 1 bpdc by turn) without increases.

If this is for beginners to crochet and I can tell you they won’t Be able to do it. I have been crocheting since I was 5 I am now 72 and I won’t mess with it and try to figure out your symbols. You think beginners are going to understand them. Why don’t you write it out so they can understand it?

It isn't stated, that it's for beginners, as for me, this set is for crafters with experience. 

Not I write this patterns, I use different sources and sometimes my assistants help to translate them from different languages
