You'll need:

YarnArt Baby yarn of red and blue colours (100% acryl; 150m/50g);

Crochet hook 2 mm.

Instructions

Start with calculating the length of initial chain of chain sts. For the sample, the length of baby foot is 10 cm, width - 5 cm. The length of initial chain = 10 - 5 = 5 cm.

If you need booties of bigger size, so add sts only in the initial chain of chain sts, the other work is the same.

If there isn't enough rows, so make 1 row (no more) without increasing sts.

Cast on 12 chain sts with red yarn.

1st row: 3 chain sts, 2 double crochets in the 4th st from the crochet hook, 10 double crochets in the each next st, 7 double crochets in the last st, turning the sole backwards. Crochet in the opposite direction - 10 double crochets, 2 double crochets in the last st. Connect this row with slip st.

2nd row: 1 chain st, start crocheting with this st, (2 crochets in 1 st) 3 times, 2 single crochets, 4 half double crochets, 3 double crochets, (2 crochets in 1 st) 7 times. Then, 3 double crochets, 4 half double crochets, 3 single crochets, (half double crochets) twice. Finish row with slip st.

3rd row: 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in this st, 2 crochets in the next st, (1 double crochet, crochets in 1 st) twice, 10 double crochets, (2 crochets in 1 st, 1 double crochet) 3 times, (2 crochets in 1 st) twice, (1 double crochet, 2 crochets in 1 st) 3 times, 10 double crochets, (2 crochets in 1 st, 1 double crochet) twice. Finish the row with slip st. Cut the red yarn.

Attach the blue yarn.

4th row: crochet through the back half-loops - 1 chain sts, 57 single crochets, slip st.

5th row: 1 chain st, 57 double crochets, slip st.

6th row: 1 chain st, start crocheting from this st, decrease, 16 single crochets, 12 decreases, 14 single crochets, decrease, slip st.

7th row: 1 chain st, 15 single crochets, 2 half double crochets, 12 double crochets, 2 half double crochets, 13 single crochets, slip st.

8th row: 1 chain st, 5 single crochets, decrease, 10 single crochets, 6 decreases, 8 single crochets, decrease, 5 single crochets, slip st. Cut the blue yarn.

9th row: crochet with yellow yarn single crochet, slip st. Cut the yarn on the wrong side of work and fasten it.

From centre to front part of bootie count 7 sts for the left foor and 9 sts for the right foot.

Cast on 19 chain sts, start crocheting in the 6th st from your crochet hook - (1 double crochet, 1 chain st), slip 1 st in the base of chain, repeat the actions.

Finish row with the slip st, miss 1 loop. Cut the yarn and fasten it.

Make the second bootie the same way.
