​Crochet Summer Hat for Boy

You'll need:

YarnArt summer yarn ( 0% cotton, 30% viscose, 400m/100g);

Crochet hook 2,0 мм.

Instructions

6 chain sts circle and make crochets into it.

1st row: make 14 double crochets in the middle of circle;

2nd row: 3 sts increase, 1 chain st, * 1 double crochet, 1 chain st, (1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet, 1 chain st) from the next st; repeat from * to end.

3rd row: 3 sts increase, 1 chain st, * 2 double crochets, 1 chain st, (1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet, 1 chain st) from the next arch; repeat from * to end.

4th row: 3 sts increase, 1 chain st, * 3 double crochets, 1 chain st, (1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet, 1 chain st) from the next arch; repeat from * to end.

5th row:3 sts increase, 1 chain st, * 4 double crochets, 1 chain st, (1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet, 1 chain st) from the next arch; repeat from * to end.

6th row: 3 sts increase, 1 chain st, * 5 double crochets, 1 chain st, (1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet, 1 chain st) from the next arch; repeat from * to end.

Make the top of your hat 2 cm shorter, as the ornament stretches well. You should get 12 cm. Them crochet to the needed height without making increases. You should crochet in straight-turning way in order to have straight ornament. Finish each row with slip st, crochet 1st and last crochets, 3 sts of increase and crochet in the opposite direction in the second arch. Make each row in such a way.

Fasten the edge with another colour of yarn with single crochets.
