How to Crochet Baby Shorts: Step-by-Step Instructions

You’ll Need:
About 100g of blue 100% acryl yarn and about 30g of white acryl yarn, a little bit of red yarn.
Crochet hook 2.
Size:
9-12 months.
Stitches Control:
26 sts = 10 cm.
Instructions
These shorts are made as one-piece work.
Make 62 single crochets with blue yarn for each pant, then work with single crochets, changing the color of yarn in every new row: at first, blue, then white, red, white, and blue with double crochets.
After making each pant to a height of 4 cm, connect your work, make a chain of 10 chain sts between both pants, and make a chain of 5 chain sts from both sides = 144 sts in a circle row.
Continue working around, connecting the new row by means of a slip st.
After knitting to a height of 20 cm, work with single crochets and alternate the colors of yarn: white, red, and white. Then, make 1 row of double crochets with blue yarn, 1 row of holes for the cord according to the scheme, 1 row of single crochets, and finish your work. At this stage, the height of the pants is about 24 cm.
Assembly
Sew the shorts along the inner side. Make a cord with white yarn and insert it into the holes.
