You’ll need:

100g of violet Romance yarn (96% acryl, 4% lurex; 400m/100g);

Odds of bright yarn for fastening;

Crochet hook 1,5.

Size: 18-24 months.

Back

Make 58 chain sts with violet yarn and 55 double crochets and work straight for 18 rows = 18 cm. Bind off 3 sts for arm-holes from both sides and crochet straight for 14 rows. Then, leave the central crochets open, make the edging 4 cm = 8 crochets straight for 2 rows.

Front

Make 59 chain sts and 56 crochets on this chain, make 1 row of double crochets. Divide the sts in the following way: 4 sts - side, 4 sts – cable stitch, 38 sts – base, 4 sts – cable stitch, 4 sts – side. Make side parts with double crochets, cable stitches with front post double crochets, making overlap on every 2^nd row (at first, make 3^rd and 4^th crochets, then, 1^st and 2^nd).

Make base in the following way:

1^st row: 4 double crochets, * 1 front post double crochet, 5 double crochets*; repeat from * to * x 5 times;

2^nd row: 4 double crochets, skip front post double crochets, double crochet, front post double crochet;

3^rd row: 5 double crochets, skip front post double crochets, double crochet, front post double crochet. Work in the same way to arm-hole. Then, divide your work in half and finish each side separately. For chamfer, decrease 1 st from inwards in every row. Make arm-holes in the same way, as back. Finish your work at the height of back.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams of front and back. Fasten arm-holes, neck-hole, bottom of vest with 4 rows of single crochets. Make 2^nd and 3^rd rows with bright yarn.
