Stitch Instructions

Stockinette Stitch

Right side rows - knit stitches, wrong side rows - purls.

Relief Pattern

Work according to the scheme. Repeat from the 1st to the 6th rows.

Frilling

Knit according to scheme 1. Complete the 1st and 2nd rows once.

Stitches Control

Stockinette stitch, knitting needles 2: 30 stitches x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm; relief knitting, crochet hook 2.5: 30 stitches x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Top

Back

Cast on 132 stitches and knit in stockinette stitch. In 36 cm = 160 rows, for the armholes, bind off in each 2nd row: 1 x 7 stitches, 1 x 3 stitches, and in each 4th row: 3 x 1 stitch from both sides. In 7 cm = 31 rows from the armholes' beginning, bind off the stitches. Crochet 91 single crochets on the upper edge of your detail and continue with the relief pattern. In 12 cm = 14 rows from stockinette stitch, leave the central 28 stitches for the neck hole and in the 2nd row, leave 1 x 2 stitches on the sides of the cut-out. In 14 cm (17 rows) from the stockinette stitch finish your work.

Front

Make the same way as the back, but in 1.5 cm = 2 rows from the beginning of work, divide the stitches in half using a hook and knit them separately, leaving 3 stitches in each 4th row from both sides. In 14 cm (17 rows) from crochet beginning, leave your work.

Sleeve

Make a chain of 101 chain stitches and crochet with the relief pattern. In 2.5 cm = 3 rows for sleeve chamfering, increase in the 4th and 12th rows by 2 stitches from both sides. In 22 cm = 26 rows, leave 1 x 4 stitches and in each row, 2 stitches for sleeve chamfering from both sides. In 25 cm = 30 rows, finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Inseam the sleeves, make side seams and sleeve seams. Fasten all the edges with 2 rows of frilling.

Vest

Back

Make a chain of 144 chain stitches and crochet with the relief pattern. In 53 cm = 63 rows for the armholes, leave 10 stitches from both sides. In 20 cm = 24 rows from the beginning of armholes, leave central 66 stitches for the neck hole and crochet separately. In 22 cm = 27 rows from armholes start, finish your work.

Left Front

Make a chain of 72 chain stitches and crochet with the relief pattern. In 53 cm = 63 rows for the armholes, leave 10 stitches from both sides. In 2 cm = 2 rows from the beginning of armholes, leave 2 stitches from the left side. In 20 cm = 23 rows from the armholes' beginning, crochet without decreases. In 22 cm = 27 rows from armhole start, finish your work.

Right Front

Make in symmetry with the left front.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Lower edges, front edges, and arm holes are fastened with 2 rows of frilling. For strings, make 2 cords 33 cm long: 100 chain stitches and 1 row of double crochets. For lacing on side seams, make 2 cords 133 cm long: 400 chain stitches and 1 row of single crochets. Insert the cords into the holes of side lines.
