​Summer Crochet Bear Hat

You'll need:

Magic microfibre yarn (100% microfiber, 152m/50g) "Apple" colour;

YarnArt summer yarn (70% cotton, 30% viscose, 400m/100g) white colour;

Crochet hook 2 mm.

Instructions

Crown of hat.

Change the colour of yourn as you like.

1st row: make 3 sts increase and 11 double crochets;

2nd row: 3 chain sts and 1 double crochets in the same st, continue with 2 double crochets in 1 st;

3rd row: 3 chain sts, * 2 double crochets in 1 st, 1 double crochet*; repeat from * to end of row.

4th row: 3 chain sts, * 2 doubcle crochets in 1 st, 2 double crochets*; repeat from * to end of row.

5th row: 3 chain sts, 2 double crochets, * 2 double crochets in 1 st, 3 double crochets*; repeat from * to end of row.

6th row: 3 chain sts, 3 double crochets, * 2 double crochets in 1 st, 4 double crochets*; repeat from * to end of row.

7th row: 3 chain sts, 4 double crochets, * 2 double crochets in 1 st, 5 double crochets*; repeat from * to end of row.

8th row: 3 chain sts, 5 double crochets, * 2 double crochets in 1 st, 6 double crochets*; repeat from * to end of row.

Then, start crocheting with the main ornament.

1st row: 1 st increase, 1 chain st, * 1 single crochet in the 3rd st, 2 chain st*, repeat from * to end of row.

2nd row: 3 sts increase, * 1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet* in the single crochet from the previous row; repeat from * to end of row.

3rd row: 1 st of increase, 1 chain st between double crochet and single crochet of the previous row, * 2 chain sts, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to end of row.

Repeat the ornament, alternating 2nd and 3rd row.

The depth of hat is 15 cm.

Ears:

1st row: 10 double crochets in a ring;

2nd row: 2 double crochets in each st (20 sts).

Make 4 circles. Then sew two circles together with single crochets.

Use small buttons as nose and eyes.
