DIY Crochet Beret and Scarf Set

You’ll Need:
400g of 100% cotton yarn;
Crochet hook 3.
Instructions
Beret
Start your work with the center of bottom. Circle 6-8 chain sts.
1st Row: 14-20 double crochets;
2nd Row: 2 double crochets in every crochet;
3rd Row: (1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet) inside every pair of crochets;
4th Row: (2 double crochets, 1 chain st, 2 double crochets) inside every group of the previous row;
5th Row: in the same way as the 4th row, but (3 double crochets, 1 chain st, 3 double crochets) in every group;
6th Row: (4 double crochets, 1 chain st, 4 double crochets) in every group of the previous row;
7th Row: the quantity of sts is the same, but make 2 chain sts;
8th Row: 3 chain sts in every group, 4 chain sts to the needed diameter.
Scarf
2-3 rows of fillet net: 1 double crochet, 2 chain sts;
4th Row: single crochets;
5th Row: (1 double crochet, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet) inside every pair of crochets;
6th Row: 3 chain sts in every group, 4 chain sts to the needed diameter.

Very pretty hat and scarf, pattern should say advanced. when I read the instructions there seems to be a lot missing and a lot of assumptions that we know what you are talking about.
