How to Crochet a Stylish Hat with Mercerized Cotton Wool






You’ll Need
2 skeins of 100% mercerized cotton wool (282m/50g);
Crochet hooks 1 (for motifs) and 0.85 (for net).
Head Circumference: 56 cm.
Instructions
Make a pattern design of 2 circles: outer – 28-30 cm diameter (bottom) and inner - 16-18 cm diameter.
Make motifs according to the schemes. Place the motifs on the pattern design with a distance of 5-10 mm from the edges. Weave in the ends of the yarn and pin the motifs with the wrong side up. After that, fill the empty spaces with a net pattern, alternating the arches of 2 and 3 chain stitches and double/treble crochets.
Make the bottom part of the hat in the same way, keeping the edges of the pattern design 2.
After that, put one circle on another one and connect them with an alternation of double crochets and 2-3 chain stitches.
Make the fringe with 8-10 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch”.
