Crochet Summer Beret

You’ll need:

2 skeins of 100% mercerized cotton wool (282m/50g);

Crochet hooks 1 (for motifs) and 0,85 (for net).

Head circumference: 56 cm.

Instructions

Make pattern design of 2 circles: outer – 28-30 cm diameter (bottom) and inner -16-18 cm diameter.

Make motifs due to the schemes. Place the motifs on pattern design with distance 5-10 mm from edges. Weave in the ends of yarn and pin the motifs with wrong side up, after that, fill the empty spaces with net pattern, alternating the arches of 2 and 3 chain sts and double/treble crochets.

Make the bottom part of hat in the same way, keeping the edges of pattern design 2.

After that, put one circle on another one and connect them with alternation of double crochets and 2-3 chain sts.

Make the fringe with 8-10 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch”.
