Used Patterns
Pattern for Placket
Work with half-crochets in a circular row, starting every circle row with 2 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st half-crochet and finishing with 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch increase.
Fans Pattern, Circle Rows
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 6. Work according to the scheme 2. Start every row with 3 chain stitches instead of the 1st double crochet and finish with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch. Repeat the pattern. Make the 1st-7th rows once, then repeat the 2nd-7th rows.
Stitches Control
Pattern for placket: 18 stitches x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Fans pattern: 16 stitches x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
For the placket, make 86 chain stitches and circle them in a ring with 1 slip stitch. Then, work with the pattern for the placket. In 5 cm = 7 circle rows from the set-up row, continue work with the fans pattern using circle rows, starting with the 3rd circle row of the fans pattern and making 126 stitches in the 1st circle row = 21 pattern repeats.
In 11.5 cm = 8 circle rows from the placket, start making decreases for hat rounding. For this, work only with double crochets. Start every circle row with 3 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st double crochet and finish with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch increase.
9th circle row: 2 double crochets together (63 stitches);
10th circle row: 63 double crochets;
11th circle row: * 2 double crochets, 2 double crochets together*; repeat from * to *, 3 double crochets (48 stitches);
12th circle row: * 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets together*; repeat from * to * (32 stitches);
13th circle row: 2 double crochets (16 stitches);
14th circle row: as the 13th circle row (8 stitches).
Draw the working yarn through the upper double crochets, then sew the end on the wrong side (WS) of the hat.
