How to Create a Beautiful Crochet Vest

You’ll Need:

300g of white 100% woolen yarn (1600m/100g) in 2 threads of yarn;

Instructions:

Back:

At first, make fringe due to the scheme 1, you’ll need 12 festoons. Then, make 1 row of double crochets in the same length as fringe in the following way: 3 double crochets in every arch of 3 chain sts, fillet pattern due to the scheme 2 (14 rows) and turn to the main pattern due to the scheme 3. At 58 cm height of the main pattern, leave the central 3 stripes of the main pattern for neck-hole and finish with 2 rows of the main pattern from both sides.

Front:

Make in the same way as back. Lace fringe consists of 6 festoons. At 31 cm height of the main pattern, start making vertical gore due to the scheme 4 to form V-shape neck-hole.

Assembly:

Sew shoulder and side seams. Fasten vest with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch”.
