You Will Need

White yarn (60% cotton, 20% polyamid; 115m/50g) - 350 (400) 500 g;

Knitting needles 5, circular needles 9 4;

Elastic band 25 mm.

Ornament Patterns

Ornament 1

: Wavy pattern (the quantity of sts multiple 17 + 2 selvedge) = knit due to the scheme (there are right side rows on the scheme). In wrong side rows, knit all sts and yo with purls. Constantly repeat the pattern and 1-4 rows between selvedge sts.

Ornament 2

: Stockinette stitch = circle rows: only knit sts. Stitch control: 20 sts x 23.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 87 (104) 121 sts and knit 1 wrong side row with purls. This row isn't counted in the next calculations. Continue work with Ornament 1. Leave all the sts in 43.5 cm = 102 rows (43.5 cm = 102 rows) 48.5 cm = 114 rows from the set-up row.

Front

Knit the same way as back.

Sleeves

Cast on 70 (70) 87 sts for each sleeve and knit 1 wrong side row with purls. Continue work with Ornament 1. Leave all the sts in 31.5 cm = 74 rows from the set-up row.

Assembly

Alternatively, cast on 87 (104) 121 sts of back, 70 (70) 87 sts of the first sleeve, 87 (104) 121 sts of the front, and 70 (70) 87 sts of the second sleeve = 314 (348) 416 sts on circular needles.

For the placket, knit in the following way: 6 circular rows with knit sts, 1 circular row with purls (=bend), 6 circular rows with knit sts. In the 1st row, knit all the corresponding selvedge sts together with knit sts at the same time, decrease in front and back 10 (15) 20 sts each, on sleeves 15 (12) 15 sts each = 260 (290) 342 sts. Then bind all the sts as knit.

Sew half of the placket inside, leave the hole for elastic band inserting. Upper 7 (7) 11 cm from both sides of front and back sew with upper 7 (7) 11 cm of sleeve sides, without taking the placket. Make side and sleeves seams. Insert the elastic band and tighten the pullover.
