You’ll Need:

400 (500) 500g of white 100% cotton yarn (550m/100g);

Crochet hook size 2;

13 pearled buttons.

S (M) L.

Used Patterns:

Net pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 27 + 1 + 1 chain stitch increase. Work according to the scheme. Start every row with 1 chain stitch increase in addition to the 1st single crochet or 3 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st double crochet.

Begin with stitches before pattern repeat, follow the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Make 1st-7th rows once, then repeat 2nd-7th rows.

Stitches Control:

43.5 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Make 217 (232) 244 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the net pattern. For size M, start with stitches from arrow A, follow the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches before arrow B. In 36 (36) 33 cm from the set-up row, leave 2 cm from both sides for arm-holes, bind off 1 x 1 cm and 4 x 0.5 cm in every 2nd row. In 53 cm from the set-up row, bind off the central 14 cm for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 5 x 0.5 cm in every row from inwards. In 57 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Left Front:

Make 109 (124) 136 chain stitches increase and work with the net pattern, for size M, follow the pattern instructions as stated for the back. Make decreases for the arm-hole from the right side in the same way as for the back. In 39 cm from the set-up row, leave 1 cm from the left side for the neck-hole. For chamfers, bind off 17 x 0.5 cm in every row. Finish your work at the height of the back.

Right Front:

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves:

Make 109 (109) 136 chain stitches and work with the net pattern. In 4 cm from the set-up row, increase 0.5 cm from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 7 x 0.5 cm in every 10th row, including the increased stitches in the pattern. In 42 cm from the set-up row, leave 2 cm from both sides for sleeve caps. Make decreases for sleeve caps according to the pattern design. In 59 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly:

Make shoulder seams: sew up the sleeves, then make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the bottom of the jacket and edges of sleeves with 1 row of double crochets. Fasten vertical edges of the front and neck-hole with 3 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch. Make 13 button-holes in the 1st row of the right front: * 3 chain stitches, skip 1 cm from the edge, 1 slip stitch*; repeat from * to *. Sew on the buttons.
