I am a retired teacher, nurse and grandmother of seven. We as of next week, we will have five great-grandchildren. My grandmother spent many hours crocheting. She tried to teach me as a child, but I really didn't really try to make anything until I became a mother. It wasn't until I retired that I had the time to truly learn to make more than a simple scarf. Now, I am starstruck by all of the beautiful things online that people are able to crochet.
