Crochet Shorts Instructions

You’ll Need:

250g of Parigi yarn (43% cotton, 42% acryl, 11% viscose, 4% polyester) in violet color (# 15);

Crochet hook 5.

Stitches Control:

16 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

For the right part, make 39 chain sts and work with single crochets, increase 3 x 1 st in every 3^rd row from the left side.

At 5 cm height, bind off the sts. Make the left half symmetrically to the right. Lightly join the sts of both halves of the shorts, increase 1 st in the center between two halves of the shorts and work with single crochets, decreasing 8 x 1 st in every 4^th row from both sides. At 25.5 cm height, cut the yarn and fasten it.

Front

For the right part, make 39 chain sts and work with single crochets, increase 3 x 1 st in every 3^rd row from the left side. At 5 cm height, bind off the sts. Make the left half symmetrically to the right. Lightly join the sts of both halves of the shorts, increase 1 st in the center between two halves of the shorts and work with single crochets, decreasing 11 x 1 st in every 3^rd row from both sides. At 25.5 cm height, cut the yarn and fasten it.

Assembly

Make all the seams. Leave the last 5 cm open as cuts on the side seams. Fasten the upper edge by making 2 rows of single crochets along the last row and then work as follows:

1^st row: * 1 double crochet in the next single crochet (replace the 1^st double crochet with 3 chain sts), 1 chain st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to *, finishing this row and all subsequent rows with 1 slip st in the initial st;

2^nd row: * 1 single crochet in the base double crochet, 1 chain st, 3 double crochets together, 1 chain st, skip 1 base chain st*; repeat from * to *.

Cut and fasten the yarn.

Fasten the bottom edge of each half of the shorts as follows:

1^st row: * 1 double crochet in the next st, 1 chain st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to *.

Cut and fasten the yarn.

Make 2 additional rows in the same way as the 2 rows of fringe on the upper edge. Fasten edges of cuts. Make a chain of 190 cm long and insert it into the 1^st row of the upper edge fringe.
