​Casual Crochet Shorts

You’ll need:

250g of Parigi yarn (43% cotton, 42% acryl, 11% viscose, 4% polyester) in violet color (# 15);

Crochet hook 5.

Size: M.

Stitches control: 16 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

For right part, make 39 chain sts and work with single crochets, increase 3 x 1 st in every 3^rd row from left side. At 5 cm height, bind off the sts. Make left half in symmetry to the right. Light the sts of both halves of shorts, increase 1 st in the center between two halves of shorts and work with single crochets, decrease 8 x 1 st in every 4^th row from both sides. At 25,5 cm height, cut the yarn and fasten the yarn.

Front

For right part, make 39 chain sts and work with single crochets, increase 3 x 1 st in every 3^rd row from left side. At 5 cm height, bind off the sts. Make left half in symmetry to the right. Light the sts of both halves of shorts, increase 1 st in the center between two halves of shorts and work with single crochets, decrease 11 x 1 st in every 3^rd row from both sides. At 25,5 cm height, cut the yarn and fasten the yarn.

Assembly

Make all the seams. Leave the last 5 cm open as cuts on the side seams. Fasten the the upper edge, make 2 rows of single crochets along the last row and then work in the following way:

1^st row: * 1 double crochet in the next single crochet (replace the 1^st double crochet to 3 chain sts), 1 chain st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to *, finish this row and all the rest rows with 1 slip st in the initial st;

2^nd row: * 1 single crochet in base double crochet, 1 chain st, 3 double crochets together, 1 chain st, skip 1 base chain st*; repeat from * to *.

Cut and fasten the yarn.

Fasten the bottom edge of each half of shorts in the following way:

1^st row: * 1 double crochet in the next st, 1 chain st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to *.

Cut and fasten the yarn.

Make 2 rows in the same way, as 2 rows of fringe of upper edge. Fasten edges of cuts. Make chain of 190 cm long and insert it in the 1^st row of upper edge fringe.
