Instructions

Back

Make 71 (81) 91 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with arches pattern = 13 (15) 17 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeats from both sides. In 57.5 cm = 38 rows from the set-up row, work with the main pattern, make 23 (26) 29 pattern repeats + initial and final double crochets = 71 (80) 89 stitches. In 62 cm from the set-up row, decrease 3 stitches from both sides for armholes and 3 x 2 stitches in every row = 53 (62) 71 stitches. In 80.5 (82) 83.5 cm from the set-up row, leave the central 21 (24) 27 stitches for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, decrease 1 x 3 stitches in the next row from inwards. In 82 (83.5) 85 cm from the set-up row, finish back on the rest 13 (16) 19 stitches of shoulder, making 1 row of single crochets = total height is 82.5 (84) 85.5 cm.

Front

Make in the same way as back, but for a deeper neck-hole, leave the central 9 (12) 15 stitches in 63 (64.5) 66 cm from the set-up row and decrease 3 x 2 stitches and 3 x 1 stitch in every row.

Sleeves

Make 53 (59) 65 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the main pattern = 17 (19) 21 pattern repeats + initial and final double crochets. For chamfers, increase 1 x 1 stitch and 1 x 2 stitches in every row from the set-up row from both sides = 59 (65) 71 stitches. In 3 cm from the set-up row, decrease 3 stitches from both sides for sleeve caps and 1 x 3 stitches, 3 x 2 stitches, and 3 x 1 stitch in every row. In 13 cm from the set-up row, finish your sleeve on the rest 29 (35) 41 stitches, make 1 row of single crochets, total height is about 13.5 cm.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 88 (99) 110 stitches with circular knitting needles, make 4 rows of purls, then, bind off all the stitches as knit stitches. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Cast on 44 (50) 54 stitches along the lower edge of sleeves with circular knitting needles, make 4 circle rows of purls, then, bind off all the stitches as knit stitches. Fasten the bottom edge with 1 circle row of picot with crochet hook 4.
