You’ll Need:

500 (550)g of white Lana Grossa Secondo yarn (55% cotton, 25% polyamide, 20% silk; 125m/50g);

Crochet hooks 2.5 and 3.

Size:

S (M).

Used Patterns:

Relief Pattern:

Work according to the scheme. Make the first 2 double crochets of the 1st row in the 5th chain stitch from the crochet hook.

Start every row with 3 chain stitches increase instead of 1 double crochet. Start with stitches before the 1st arrow, pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the 2nd arrows. Make 2 double crochets in chain stitch of the previous row arch in the 3rd and 5th rows. Make 1st-5th rows once, then repeat the 2nd-5th rows.

Single Crochets:

Start every row with 1 chain stitch, make 1 single crochet in 1 single crochet of the previous row.

Stitches Control:

Relief pattern: 3 pattern repeats x 8 rows = 9.5 cm x 10 cm;

21.5 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Start with the lower detail. For this, make 121 (130) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase. Work with relief pattern = 13 (14) pattern repeats. In 44 cm = 35 rows from the setup row, finish detail with the 3rd row of the scheme. For the yoke, make 86 (96) chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase. Work with single crochets = 86 (96) single crochets. Increase 1 stitch from both sides in the 5th row from the setup row, then, 4 x 1 stitch in every 4th row = 96 (106) stitches. In 11 cm = 28 rows from the setup row, decrease 1 stitch from both sides for raglan chamfers, then, 16 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row and 14 (19) x 1 stitch in every row. In 19 (21) cm = 48 (53) rows from the beginning of raglan, finish your work. The remaining 34 single crochets will form the neck-hole.

Front:

Make the lower detail in the same way as for the back. Make the yoke of 2 details. First, make 43 (48) chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase for the left half and work with single crochets = 43 (48) single crochets. Make side and raglan chamfers from the right side at the height of the back. Decrease 1 stitch from the left side in the 4th row from the setup row, then, 10 x 1 stitch in every 4th row and 4 x 1 stitch in every 6th row = 2 single crochets. Finish your work at the height of the back. Create the right half of the yoke symmetrically.

Sleeves:

First, make the lower detail of the sleeve. For this, make 76 (85) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase. Work with the relief pattern = 8 (9) pattern repeats. In 44 cm = 35 rows from the setup row, finish the detail with the 3rd row according to the scheme. Then, make the upper detail of single crochets on the lower detail. For this, turn with 1 chain stitch and make 56 (62) single crochets in the last row of the relief pattern. Add 1 stitch in the 3rd (2nd) row for chamfers, then, bind off 4 (5) x 1 stitch in every 2nd row and 0 (1) x 1 stitch in every row = 66 (76) stitches. In 5 cm = 13 rows from the end of the relief pattern, make raglan chamfers from both sides in the same way as for the back. In 19 (21) cm from the beginning of the raglan, finish your work.

Assembly:

Sew the back yoke to the lower detail of the back. Mark the center on the lower detail of the front. Sew the left side of the yoke to the center. Sew the right side in the same way. Make side and sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves. Fasten the edge of the neck-hole with 3 circular rows of single crochets using crochet hook 2.5, making 2 single crochets together in every circular row in the center of the front. Finish every circular row with 1 slip stitch.

Oh my word!!! I have been scrolling through the site, making my hands and breathe slow down at the exciting things and new crochet stitches. I am breathless. Never have I seen so much!!! It hit me suddenly… I am 69, I won't live long enough to get all of them, or  even try them!!!!Mercy how my heart aches at that. But I'm going to make a mad dash and do my best!!! I tried to do three stitches already, and barely got them done right when that thought hit me like a rock in the head.  Wish me luck and lucidity, because I'm like a kid in the candy store here, lol. Hugs to all the sisters on- line that are younger...learn them while you are young! Tami H
