You’ll need:

500 (550)g of white Lana Grossa Secondo yarn (55% cotton, 25% polyamide, 20% silk; 125m/50g);

Crochet hooks 2,5 and 3.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: work due to the scheme. Make the first 2 double crochets of the 1st row in the 5th chain st from the crochet hook. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of 1 double crochet. Start with sts before the 1st arrow, pattern repeat, finish with sts after the 2nd arrows. Make 2 double crochets in chain st of previous row arch in the 3rd and 5th rows. Make 1st-5th rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-5th rows.

Single crochets: start every row with 1 chain st, make 1 single crochet in 1 single crochet of the previous row.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 3 pattern repeats x 8 rows = 9,5 cm x 10 cm;

21,5 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Start with lower detail. For this, make 121 (130) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. Work with relief pattern = 13 (14) pattern repeat. In 44 cm = 35 rows from the set-up row, finish detail with the 3rd row of the scheme. For yoke, make 86 (96) chain sts + 1 chain st increase. Work with single crochets = 86 (96) single crochets. Increase 1 st from both sides in the 5th row from the set-up row, then, 4 x 1 st in every 4th row = 96 (106) sts. In 11 cm = 28 rows from the set-up row, decrease 1 st from both sides for raglan chamfers, then, 16 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 14 (19) z 1 st in every row. In 19 (21) cm = 48 (53) rows from the beginning of raglan, finish your work. The rest 34 single crochets form neck-hole.

Front

Make lower detail in the same way, as for back. Make yoke of 2 details. At first, make 43 (48) chain sts + 1 chain st increase for left half and work with single crochets = 43 (48) single crochets. Make side and raglan chamfers from the right side at the height of back. Decrease 1 st from the left side in the 4th row from the set-up row, then, 10 x 1 st in every 4th row and 4 x 1st in every 6th row = 2 single crochets. Finish your work at the height of back. Make right half of yoke in symmetry.

Sleeves

At first, make lower detail of sleeve. For this, make 76 (85) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. Work with relief pattern = 8 (9) pattern repeats. In 44 cm = 35 rows from the set-up row, finish the detail with the 3rd row due to the scheme. Then, make upper detail of single crochets on lower detail. For this, turn with 1 chain st and make 56 (62) single crochets in the last row of relief pattern. Add 1 st in the 3rd (2nd) row for chamfers, then, bind off 4 (5) x 1 st in every 2nd row and 0 (1) x 1 st in every row = 66 (76) sts. In 5 cm = 13 rows from the end of relief pattern, make raglan chamfers from both sides in the same way, as for back. In 19 (21) cm from the beginning of raglan, finish your work.

Assembly

Sew back yoke to the lower detail of back. Mark center on the lower detail of front. Sew left side of yoke to the center. Sew right side in the same way. Make side and sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves. Fasten the edge of neck-hole with 3 circle rows of single crochets with crochet hook 2,5, make 2 single crochets together in every circle row in the center of front. Finish every circle row with 1 slip st.

Oh my word!!! I have been scrolling through the site, making my hands and breathe slow down at the exciting things and new crochet stitches. I am breathless. Never have I seen so much!!! It hit me suddenly… I am 69, I won't live long enough to get all of them, or  even try them!!!!Mercy how my heart aches at that. But I'm going to make a mad dash and do my best!!! I tried to do three stitches already, and barely got them done right when that thought hit me like a rock in the head.  Wish me luck and lucidity, because I'm like a kid in the candy store here, lol. Hugs to all the sisters on- line that are younger...learn them while you are young! Tami H
