How to Crochet a Chic Lilac Garment

You’ll need:

200g of middle weight yarn (60% acrylic, 40% wool) in lilac color;

Crochet hook 8.

Size: M-L.

Back

Make 43 chain sts and work according to scheme 1. At 13 cm height, bind off 2 x 3 sts in every row from both sides according to scheme 2 and crochet straight. At 38 cm height, after getting 7 sts for each shoulder and 17 sts for neck-hole, finish your work.

Right Front

Make 13 chain sts and work according to scheme 1. At 13 cm height, bind off 2 x 3 sts in every row from the side seam for arm-hole = 7 sts and crochet straight. At 38 cm height, finish your work.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Assembly

Make all seams.

Fasten the edges of the front, neck-hole, and lower edge with 6 rows of half double crochets, increasing 3 sts in the corners of the lower edge of the front for round shape. Then, make 1 row of “crab stitch” and finish your work.

Fasten arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “crab stitch”. Sew cords to the front as straps.
