You’ll need:

400 (450)g of light-blue yarn (93% cotton, 7% polyester; 100m/50g);

Knitting needles 9;

Crochet hooks 7 and 8.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

“Shrimp stitch”: single crochets from left to right.

Crochet pattern on 8 sts: due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat, turn the rows, as stated. Repeat 1st-6th rows.

Stitches control: stockinette stitch: 14 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Crochet pattern: 11 sts x 5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 84 (92) sts and work with stockinette stitch between selvage sts. In 35 cm from the set-up row, bind off all sts. Work with “shrimp stitch” on the bound off edge on 65 (73) sts. In 41 cm from the beginning of “shrimp stitch”, make decreases on the central 30 cm for neck-hole, matching with pattern design in full dimensions. In 45 cm from the beginning of “shrimp stitch”, finish your work.

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 35 cm from the beginning of “shrimp stitch”, make decreases for neck-hole on the central 30 cm, matching with pattern design. Finish your work at the height of back.

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten neck-hole, lower edge and sleeve edges with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch” with crochet hook 7. For strap, make a chain of 150 cm long and fasten it with 1 row of slip sts from both sides. Draw strap through the 1st row of “shrimp stitch” pattern.
