Instructions

Back

Make 86 (94) 102 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the main pattern. In 15.5 cm = 22 rows from the setup row, increase 2 stitches from both sides for sleeves, and then increase 2 x 2 stitches in every 6th row, 1 x 4 stitches, 1 x 6 stitches, 1 x 8 stitches in every 4th row and 1 x 12 stitches, 1 x 16 stitches, 1 x 28 stitches in every 2nd row = 246 (254) 262 stitches. For increases, make new chain stitches, then fasten them with the main pattern. In 53 cm = 75 rows from the setup row, finish your work.

Left Front

Make 44 (48) 52 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the main pattern. In 3 cm = 4 rows from the setup row, skip 1 stitch along the left side of the neck-hole and bind off 11 x 1 stitch in every 4th row. Make increases for sleeves along the right side in the same way as for the back. Finish your work on the remaining 112 (116) 120 stitches of shoulder/sleeve at the height of the back.

Right Front

Make in reflection to the left front.

Assembly

Make shoulder and sleeve seams. For sleeve plackets, fasten the lower edge of sleeves, making 66 stitches of the main pattern for each sleeve. At 5 cm = 7 rows height of placket, finish your work. Make side and lower edges of sleeves, including the seams of sleeves plackets. For the lower placket, make 22 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the main pattern. In 89 (97) 105 cm from the setup row, finish your work. Sew the lower placket to the lower edge of the jacket.

For the collar, make 37 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the rhombs pattern. In 173 cm = 156 rows from the setup row, finish your work. Sew the collar to the back neck-hole and edges of the front. For this, fold the collar in half and mark the middle, placing the middle of the collar in the center of the back neck-hole and sewing both ends to the edges of the neck-hole. Leave the first and last 20 cm of the collar placket hanging. Sew buttons to the left edge of the lower placket. Sew buttons.
