How to Crochet a Scarf and Hat Set



You’ll Need:
400g of light-grey yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 150m/100g);
Crochet hook 3.5-4.
Size:
scarf – 180 x 40 cm;Depth of hat: 30 cm.
Instructions
Scarf
Make a chain of 40 cm long (the quantity of sts is multiple of 4). Work with turning rows according to the scheme until the needed length of the scarf is achieved. Finish your work. Decorate the short sides of the scarf with tassels, as shown in the photo.
Hat
Crochet across. Make a chain 30 cm long and work with turning rows. Start with 1 row of single crochets, then switch to back post single crochet. Make 1 chain stitch increase at the beginning of every row. Continue this pattern until the rectangular piece matches the head circumference. Finish your work.
Make a vertical seam, paying attention to the hat’s flap. Tighten the obtained plug at the top. Weave in ends.

why is it so hard to print a pattern on this site ?why can't it be simple, to just print it ?
Dear Sally, it's not a problem to print out the pattern, just copy and save the text as .doc file and print it out — that's it
It would be nice if it was easy to print what is supposed to be a free pattern. I noticed this with a lot of these sites and others like it that it's impossible to print any of the patterns.
