You'll Need

• Alize Superlana Maxi 111 yarn (25% wool, 75% acryl; 100m/100g) - 400 g;
• Knitting needles size 8.

Instructions

Cast on 125 stitches and knit them using garter stitch.

Make 1 row of garter stitch. In the 2nd row, make a decrease by knitting 3 stitches together on the 38th stitch.

Knit 49 stitches of garter stitch and then make an increase:

• 5 knit stitches, 2 stitches together, 5 knit stitches,
• 3 stitches together, 5 knit stitches, 2 stitches together,
• 5 knit stitches, 1 increase, 1 knit stitch, 1 increase,
• 5 knit stitches, 3 stitches together, 5 knit stitches,
• 1 increase, 1 knit stitch, 1 increase, 5 knit stitches,
• 1 increase, 1 knit stitch, 1 increase, 5 knit stitches,
• 2 stitches together, 5 knit stitches, 3 stitches together,
• 5 knit stitches, 2 stitches together, 5 knit stitches,
• 1 increase, 1 knit stitch, 1 increase, 5 knit stitches,
• 3 decreases, and knit 3 stitches together on the 50th stitch.

Make the reversed row with garter stitch.

Knit the next row with the decreases in the places of previous decreases, knitting 3 stitches together. Make the reversed row with garter stitch. Knit the next row with decreases.

Then, knit a row in the following order:

• 4 garter stitches, knit 2 stitches together,
• 5 knit stitches, add 1 stitch, knit 2 stitches from 1 stitch (increase),
• 1 knit stitch, 1 increase, 5 knit stitches,
• knit 3 stitches together, 5 knit stitches, 1 increase,
• 1 knit stitch, 1 stitch together, 5 knit stitches,
• 1 increase, 1 knit stitch, 1 increase, 5 knit stitches,
• knit 2 stitches together, 4 garter stitches.

Make 6 rows in such a way. Knit the next 6 rows with garter stitch (3 rows of garter stitch).

Knit 3 sections of the right side with decreases and 3 sections of garter stitch. Knit 4 selvedge stitches throughout the whole work.

Make 2 holes on one of the plackets for buttons. Create a collar at the height of 26 cm, knitting 9 cm of garter stitch.
