How to Knit a Stylish Garment for Children Aged 3-5

You Will Need:

SUPERLANA CLASSIC yarn (25% wool, 75% acryl; 280m/100g), colours 161, 204, 221, 62 (1 skein of each colour).

Knitting needles 3.5 mm.

* 2 knit stitches, from the next 3 stitches replace the central stitch in front, after that knit 3 stitches together, 2 knit stitches, add 1 stitch from the intermediate yarn, 1 knit stitch, add 1 stitch from the intermediate yarn, 2 knit stitches; repeat from * to end. Make 4 such rows. In the 5th row, make increases from the intermediate yarn from both sides.

Knit 13 rows with the zigzag pattern using light-blue yarn. Change to a dark powder colour of yarn (change the colour of yarn every 6 cm).

Place the remaining 32 stitches from each side on one knitting needle. Continue knitting the zigzag pattern with the powder colour yarn. Increase 1 stitch from each side every 6 rows (until the end of knitting).

Make the front part the same way. Make side seams. Sew a button to the neck hole and create a loop with a hook.
