Create a Beautiful Knitted Dress for Ages 5-6

This dress is made with the help of a knitting machine.

Back

At first, set up the single-needle set on 96 needles, then work 8 rows with a stockinette structure. After that, make the edge of the wave with the help of the dial needle: slip 1 stitch from every 4^th needle and put it on the 5^th needle.

Knit straight to the 18^th row. Then, throw the stitches of the 1^st row on the stitches of the 18^th row with the help of the dial needle. Make 2 more rows straight.

Make the relief pattern according to the scheme in the 20^th row. Continue working with a stockinette structure. Repeat the relief pattern in the 50^th, 80^th, 110^th, 140^th, and 170^th rows.

Bind off the stitches in the 171^st row, then throw the bound-off stitches on the needles of the machine: * throw 2 stitches, skip 1 stitch *; repeat from * to * to end of row.

Work with a stockinette structure again, add 1 stitch x 8 from both sides, starting from the 176^th row. Work straight, making the 231^st row on PL9 mode.

From the 232^nd row to the 247^th row, work again on PL7 mode. After that, throw the stitches of the 232^nd row on the stitches of the 247^th row, make 1 more row, and bind off the stitches.

Front

Make in the same way as the back.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams, hang the stitches for the armhole on the machine needles, and make 8 more rows of stockinette structure. Then, make waves with the help of the dial needle, as you previously did for the back. After that, make 10 more rows.

Then, throw the stitches of the 1^st row on the stitches of the 18^th row, make 1 row, and bind off the stitches.

Make the opposite side in the same way. Make side seams of your dress.

Belt

Make a single-needle set on the needed quantity of stitches and work with a stockinette structure to the needed length. Make a bow in the same way. Decorate your dress with beads.
