Easy Crochet Bag Pattern with Colorful Stripes

You’ll Need:

50g of bright-pink Classico yarn (100% cotton; 110m/50g);

50g of the same yarn, but in turquoise color;

50g of the same yarn, but in light-green color;

50g of the same yarn, but in yellow color;

Crochet hook 3.5.

Size:

26 x 31 cm.

Stripes order: * 1 light-green row, 1 turquoise row, 1 yellow row, 1 bright-pink row*; repeat from * to *.

Stitches Control:

21 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Make 2 chain sts with light-green yarn, 5 single crochets in the 1^st chain st and finish with 1 slip st in the 2^nd chain st. Then, make the bottom with single crochets, alternating the colors, double every st in the 1^st row: 2 sts in 1 st of the previous row = 10 sts;

2^nd row: double every 2^nd st = 15 sts;

3^rd row: double every 3^rd st = 20 sts.

Work in the same way until the bottom is 16 cm diameter. Then, make sides with single crochets without increases. In 23 cm from the bottom, finish your work with 1 turquoise row. For cords, make 2 chains of 70 cm with turquoise yarn and fasten them with 1 row of slip sts.
