How to Crochet a Colorful Bag with Polypropylene Fiber

You'll Need:
200g of polypropylene fiber of yellow and purple colors;
Crochet hook size 4.
Instructions:
Make a chain of 50 chain stitches.
Crochet a square with a width of 7-8 cm using single crochet. Use 1 chain stitch for increase. Crochet around the square with single crochets to smooth the edge.
For the remaining part of the work, use double crochets. In the first row of the pattern, create 3 double crochets above 1 crochet, through 2 crochets of the previous row. Form a group of 3 crochets between such groups for all the following rows.
Make an increase of 3 chain stitches at the beginning of each row. You should achieve 32 groups of crochets and 96 single crochets in one row.
In two rows of ornament, attach yellow fiber, crocheting 3 crochets with purple yarn and 3 crochets with yellow yarn. Shift the group of yellow crochets to the right by 3 rows and to the left by 2 rows to create a yellow zigzag pattern.
Continue crocheting 6 rows with purple yarn, followed by 6 rows of yellow yarn. Cut the purple yarn and secure it.
The Main Part of the Bag
The main part of your bag is now ready. Create the next 4 rows with single crochets, decreasing the number of crochets in the first row to 88 by skipping 1 crochet for every 12 crochets.
Place the marker at the beginning of the row. Now, let's make the handles. Divide the number of stitches as follows: 26 crochets between handles, 18 crochets for one handle.
After completing 13 single crochets in the 5th row from the beginning, create a chain of 60 chain stitches to form a long handle.
Continue making single crochets until you reach the beginning of the second handle. Work 24 single crochets. Create the second handle similarly to the first one and crochet the row to the end.
While crocheting the second handle, fold your bag in half and adjust the distance between the handles. Complete the project with one more circular row of single crochet. Cut the yarn and fasten it.
