​Crochet Spring Bag

You'll need:

100% cotton wool (200g/150m);

Crochet hook 2,5.

Width of bottom part: 6 cm, length: 28 cm

Instructions

Make 50 chain sts + 2 chain sts increase for the bottom part. Fasten this chain aroun with single crochets, making 3 single crochets in the 1st and last sts of chain, finish the row with the slip st. You should get 102 single crochets.

Then, make 7 more circle rows with single crochets, making increases due to the scheme and finishing each row with slip st.

The quantity of single crochets in the 2nd row - 108, in the 3rd row - 104, in the 4th row - 120, in the 5th, 6th and 7th rows - 126, in the 8th row - 132 single crochets.

The height of bag is 20-21 cm.

1st-4th rows: single crochets without increases;

5th row: *3 double crochets together from base, 1 chain st; repeat from * to end of row.

Then make 25 rows due to the scheme and fasten the edge of bag with "shrimp stitch".

Handles

Make 8-9 chain sts and make a stripe of 6-7 rows of single crochets of the needed length.

Make two handles and sew them to the edge of your bag from inner side.

Big Rose

Make 9 chain sts, circle them in the ring.

1st row: 3 chain sts increase, make 15 double crochets in a ring, finish the row (and all the following rows) with slip st.

2nd row: single crochet, 3 chain sts, make single crochet through the base st to end of row, so you'll get 8 arches of chain sts.

3rd row: fasten each arch in the following way: single crochet, half single crochet, 3 double crochets, half single crochet, sinlge crochet.

4th row: make arches from 4 chain sts and single crochet in the st of single crochet of the 2nd row.

5th row: single crochets, half double crochet, 5 double crochets, half double crochet, sinlge crochet. Don't forget to finish with slip st.

6th row: make arches from 5 chain sts and single crochet in the single crochet of the 4th row.

7th row: fasten the arches with single crochets, half double crochet, 7 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet.

8th row: make arches from 6 chain sts and single crochet in the single crochet of the 6th row.

9th row: fasten the arches with single crochets, half double crochet, 9 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet.

Make smaller rose in analogy to this one, but only 7 rows.

Decorate roses with beads.

Leaves

Make 11 chain sts for the big leave and make all the rows due to the scheme, for middle leave make 8 chain sts and make 7 rows due to the scheme. Make small leave in analogy, but only 5 rows.

Sew roses and leaves to the bag.

Make backing in the size of bag and sew it to the inner part of bag.
