How to Crochet a Beautiful Bag with Flowers

You'll Need

100% cotton wool (200g/150m);

Crochet hook 2.5.

Width of bottom part: 6 cm, length: 28 cm.

Instructions

Make 50 chain stitches + 2 chain stitches for the bottom part. Fasten this chain around with single crochets, making 3 single crochets in the 1st and last stitches of the chain. Finish the row with a slip stitch.

Then, make 7 more circle rows with single crochets, making increases as per the scheme and finishing each row with a slip stitch.

Row Increments Breakdown

• Quantity of single crochets in the 2nd row: 108
• Quantity in the 3rd row: 104
• Quantity in the 4th row: 120
• Quantity in the 5th, 6th, and 7th rows: 126
• Quantity in the 8th row: 132 single crochets.

The height of the bag is 20-21 cm.

Row Techniques

• 1st-4th rows: Single crochets without increases.
• 5th row: *3 double crochets together from base, 1 chain stitch; repeat from * to end of row.

Then make 25 rows according to the scheme and fasten the edge of the bag with a "shrimp stitch".

Handles

Make 8-9 chain stitches and create a stripe of 6-7 rows of single crochets to the needed length.

Create two handles and sew them to the edge of your bag from the inner side.

Big Rose

Make 9 chain stitches and form them into a ring.

Make backing in the size of the bag and sew it to the inner part of the bag.
