You'll Need:

• Garter stitch: all knit sts.

Instructions:

Cast on 40 sts with 2 threads of white yarn for the sole.

1st and 2nd rows: garter stitch;

3rd row: 1 selvedge st, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 2 knit sts, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 1 selvedge st;

4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th rows: knit;

5th row: 1 selvedge st, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 4 knit sts, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 1 knit st, 1 selvedge st;

7th row: 1 selvedge st, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 6 knit sts, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 2 knit sts, 1 selvedge st;

9th row: 1 selvedge st, 3 knit sts, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 8 knit sts, increase 1 st, 18 knit sts, increase 1 st, 3 knit sts, 1 selvedge st.

You should get 56 sts. Divide them into 3 parts: 19 sts + 18 sts + 19 sts.

1st row: 1 selvedge st, 18 knit sts, 18 sts of 2 x 2 rib, 18 knit sts, 1 selvedge st;

2nd row: 19 knit sts, central 18 sts due to the ornament. Repeat the scheme of knitting the 1st and 2nd rows. You should get 19 sts + 9 sts + 19 sts;

14th row: 19 knit sts, 9 sts of 1 x 1 rib, 19 knit sts;

15th row: 18 knit sts, (knit2tog) x 5 times, 19 knit sts;

16th row: side parts - knit sts, central 5 sts - purls;

17th row: side parts - knit sts, make central part in the following way: knit2tog, 1 knit st, knit2tog;

18th, 19th, and 20th rows: knit.

Then, turn to knitting with YarnArt yarn. Make 1 x 1 rib on 4 cm. Bind off the sts.

Ears:

Cast on 6 sts with YarnArt yarn and make garter stitch, making increases. For this, increase 1 st x 3 in even rows. Then, knit 2 cm straight. Then, decrease 1 st x 3 from sides. Knit 2 rows straight. Bind off the sts.

Assembly:

Make back and sole seams. Turn part of 1 x 1 rib to the right side. Sew 2 ears on sides. Glue eyes, sew nose.
