How to Create a Crochet Belt and Beauty Bag

You’ll Need:

70g of dark-blue 100% cotton yarn (425m/100g);

Odds of white yarn;

Crochet hook 1.7;

Dark-blue or black zipper of 20 cm long.

Instructions

Belt

Make 216 chain sts. Make 1^st-3^rd rows of 14 double crochets, replace the 1^st crochet with 3 chain sts increase, *8 chain sts, 10 double crochets (attach 1^st crochet in 8 sts)*; repeat from * to *, 8 chain sts, 14 double crochets. Make 6 cords of 90 chain sts, 3 cords of 100 chain sts, and 3 cords of 110 chain sts along the short edges. Make a “cable” of cords to 6-7 cm long.

Beauty Bag

Make 59 chain sts and create 4 rows of double crochets. Then, work according to scheme 1 for 10 pattern repeats up, starting with 3 double crochets and finishing with 3 double crochets. Make 2 more rows of double crochets. Make the second side in the same way, joining the yarn to the initial row chain.

Assembly

Make side seams. Fasten the upper cut with 1 row of “shrimp stitch.” Sew up the zipper. For the flower, make 4 chain sts with dark-blue yarn and circle them into a ring. Make 6 double crochets in the ring. Then, work according to scheme 2 with white yarn. Join the white yarn to the center of the ready-made flower from the WS and make 3 chains of different lengths. Fold the chains in half and join to the middle. Sew the flower onto the beauty bag.
