How to Crochet with Light-Pink and Coral Yarn

You’ll Need:

3 skeins of light-pink yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic; 150m/50g);

2 skeins of the same yarn, but in coral color;

Crochet hook 3.

Size

42 cm high, 34 cm wide.

Instructions

Make 2 chain stitches with coral yarn and make 6 single crochets in the 2^nd chain stitch from the crochet hook.

Row Instructions

• 1^st row: 2 single crochets in every stitch (12 stitches);
• 2^nd row: *1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next stitch*; repeat from * to * (18 stitches);
• 3^rd row: *2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next stitch*; repeat from * to * (24 stitches);

Continue making increases of 6 stitches in every row until you get 31 rows = 192 stitches, after that, make 2 rows of single crochets without increases. Turn to light-pink yarn, make 3 chain stitches (instead of the 1^st double crochet) and make 1 double crochet in every stitch to the end of the row. Finish the row with a slip stitch in the 3^rd chain stitch.

Note: start all the following rows of rhombs pattern with 3 chain stitches instead of the 1^st double crochet, finish with a slip stitch in the 3^rd chain stitch.

• 38^th row: double crochet in every stitch and change to coral yarn.

Upper Placket and Handles

Start your work from the 39^th row. Make 1 chain stitch increase and make 6 rows of single crochets: *32 single crochets, 80 chain stitches, skip 32 stitches and make 32 single crochets*; repeat from * to *. After that, work with 6 rows of single crochets, decrease 1 stitch on the 1^st chain stitch and on the 80^th chain stitch. Cut the yarn, fasten the ends.
