Notes
- We are stitching in the round until we reach Row 15.
- Ch1 does not count as a stitch.
- Ch3 counts as a double crochet.
Pattern
RND 1: With C1, Ch 10, 1 sc in the 2nd ch, and in each ch across, (9 sc)
Turn working down the opposite side of the ch,
1 sc in each ch across, (9 sc)
Mark your last stitch of each row with the stitch marker.
(9 + 9 = 18 sc)
RND 2: 1 sc in each sc around,
RND 3: Change to C2, leaving C1 attached, sc in the 1st sc, *tr in the next sc, sc in the next sc*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times,
Sc in the last 9 sc, (4 TR, 14 sc)
RND 4: Change to C1, leave C2 attached,
1 sc in each st around (18 sc)
RND 5: 1 sc in each sc around (18 sc)
RND 6 – RND 14: Repeat RND 3 – RND 5
RND 15: 1 sc in each sc (18 sc)
RND 16: Change to C2, ch 3, 1 dc in each sc,
Join to the ch3 with a slst, (18 dc)
RND 17: Change to C1, ch 1, 1 sc in each dc, join to 1st sc with a slst,
Tie off and weave in your ends. (18 sc)
Tie
Holding 2 strands of yarn together, ch 36, tie off.
Lace through RND 15 and secure with a sturdy knot.
