Rows

Row 2: Ch 4, turn, skip 1 sc, dc in next sc, (ch 2, sk 1, sc, dc in next sc) across.

Row 3: Ch 3, turn, dc in 1^st sp, (dc in next dc, dc in next sp), ending with sl st in top of beginning dc.

Row 4: Ch 4, turn, skip 1^st dc, dc in next dc, (ch 1, sk 1 dc, dc in the next dc) across, ending with a dc in the top of beginning ch-3.

Rows 5-14: Repeat Rows 3 and 4, alternately, ending with a Row 3, change to CC in the last dc. Do NOT ch 3, do NOT turn.

Border

Rnd 1: Ch 1, 3 sc in joining st [1st corner made], work a sc evenly spaced around with 3 sc in each corner. Join with a sl st in the 1^st sc.
