How to Knit a Mohair and Silk Scarf


You’ll Need:
100g of yarn (75% mohair, 25% silk; 200m/25g);
Knitting needles 3.5.
Used Patterns
Garter stitch: all knit sts;
Relief pattern: as per the scheme.
Stitches Control
On garter stitch with 2 threads of yarn: 20 sts x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 111 sts with 2 threads of yarn. Make 4 rows with garter stitch. Divide the sts of the next row in the following way: 3 sts – garter stitch, repeat the pattern of the scheme A.1 x 5 times, 3 sts of garter stitch. After knitting 1 pattern repeat height, you should get 91 sts on the knitting needles. Then, continue work according to the scheme A.2 to 77 cm height. After finishing the last row of pattern repeat, make 4 rows with garter stitch and decrease 10 sts at the same time. There are 81 sts left. Bind off the sts.
Make the second part of the scarf in the same way. Sew both details together.
