- white and lilac cotton yarn 50 gr / 90 m
- crochet hook 4 mm
Instructions
How to Crochet Cake Slice:
- Start work with white color, Ch 6.
- Round 1: 1 sc to second stitch from hook, 3 sc, 3 sc into last stitch, 3 sc, 2 sc into last stitch (12).
- Round 2…X: 12 sc around (12).
- Repeat X rounds until the tape reaches a length of 14.5 inches (37 cm).
- Working through both thicknesses, sl st together the edges as well as the side. Fasten off.
- Work with lilac color, crochet the same tape until the tape reaches a length of 9.5 inches (23 cm).
- Coil and sew or glue in place as shown in the pic. You can decorate the swiss roll with whipped cream and berries as we did for a cupcake, look whipped cream and berries pattern here.
