  • st = stitch
  • sc = single crochet
  • sl st = slip stitch

Materials

  • white and lilac cotton yarn 50 gr / 90 m
  • crochet hook 4 mm.

Instructions

How to crochet cake slice:

  • Start work with white color, Ch 6
  • Round 1: 1 sc to second stitch from hook, 3 sc, 3 sc into last stitch, 3 sc, 2 sc into last stitch (12)
  • Round 2…X: 12 sc around (12)
  • Repeat X rounds until the tape reaches a length of 14,5 inches (37 cm).

  • Working through both thicknesses, sl st together the edges as well as side. Fasten off.
  • Work with lilac color, crochet the same tape until the tape reaches a length of 9,5 inches (23 cm).
  • Coil and sew or glue in place as shown in the pic. You can decorate the swiss roll with whipped cream and berries as we did for a cupcake, look whipped ceam and berries pattern here.
