Pink Yarn Sweater Knitting Pattern



You’ll Need:
700 (800)g of pink yarn (60% cotton, 40% acrylic; 100m/50g);
Knitting needles 4;
Circle knitting needles 4.

S (M).
Used Patterns
Rib Stitch:
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 4 + 2 selvedge stitches.
RS rows: 1 selvedge stitch, *2 knit stitches, 2 purls*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvedge stitch.
WS rows: due to the ornament.
Circle rows: the quantity of stitches is a multiple of 4: 2 knit stitches, 2 purls by turn.
Relief Pattern:
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 22 + 21 + 2 selvedge stitches – work according to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows stitches and yarn overs as purls.
Start with 1 selvedge stitch and stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with stitches after pattern repeat and 1 selvedge stitch. Repeat 1st-56th rows.
Stockinette Stitch:
In RS rows – knit stitches, in WS rows – purls.
Stitches Control:
20 stitches x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm with relief pattern.
Instructions
Back:
Cast on 86 (106) stitches and make 3 cm with rib for the placket, increase 3 (5) stitches in the last WS row = 89 (111) stitches.
Continue work with relief pattern.
In 61 cm = 214 rows (62 cm = 218 rows) from the placket, bind off the central 35 (41) stitches for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately.
For smooth rounding, bind off 2 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row.
In 63 cm = 220 rows (64 cm = 224 rows) from the placket, bind off the rest 25 (33) stitches of shoulders.
Front:
Make in the same way as back, but in 59 cm = 206 rows (60 cm = 210 rows) from the placket, bind off the central 27 (33) stitches for the neck-hole and 6 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row.
Sleeves:
Cast on 50 (54) stitches for each sleeve and make 3 cm of rib for the placket.
Continue work according to the following description: 1 selvedge stitch, 3 (5) stitches of stockinette stitch, 43 stitches with relief pattern, 2 (4) stitches with stockinette stitch, 1 selvedge stitch.
For sleeve chamfer, increase 36 x 1 stitch in every 4th row, and at first, work with stockinette stitch, then, include the stitches of stockinette stitch and increases in work = 122 (126) stitches.
In 42.5 cm = 148 rows from the placket, bind off all the stitches as knit stitches.
Assembly:
Make shoulder seams.
Cast on 88 (100) stitches with circle knitting needles and make 1 circle row of purls and 3 cm of rib.
Then, bind off the stitches as purls.
Sew up the sleeves. Make side and sleeve seams.
