You’ll Need:

350; 350; 400; 450; 450; 500g of yarn (70% Alpaca, 30% silk; 167m/50g);

Double-pointed knitting needles 3;

Circle knitting needles 3 (40 and 80 cm long);

Markers.

Size:

S; M; L; XL; XXL; XXXL.

Used Patterns

Garter Stitch

For circle rows – 1 row of knit sts, 1 row of purls by turn;

Stockinette Stitch

For circle rows – all knit sts;

Round Yoke Pattern

See the scheme A.1 – A.5 (only RS rows).

Stitches Control:

Stockinette stitch: 24 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Main Part

Work with circle knitting needles around. Cast on 190; 212; 232; 256; 284; 314 sts. Place 2 markers: 1st – in 95; 106; 116; 128; 142; 157 sts and 2nd – after the last st of the row. These are side lines. Make 4 rows of garter stitch. Turn to stockinette stitch.

In 7 cm from the 1st row, decrease 1 st from both sides of marker, making knit2tog. Repeat these decreases x 3 times with 3 cm interval. Totally, 4 times. There are 174; 196; 216; 240; 268; 298 sts left. Continue work with stockinette stitch.

At 22 cm from the bottom part, increase 1 st from both sides of marker, making 2 sts of every st before and after marker. Repeat these increases x 3 times with the interval of 3.5; 4; 4; 4.5; 4.5; 5 cm. Totally, 4 times. You should get 190; 212; 232; 256; 284; 314 sts. After 36; 38; 37; 39; 39; 41 cm from the 1st row, bind off the central 8 sts from both sides for arm-holes: 4 sts from each side of marker. You should get 174; 196; 216; 240; 268; 298 sts. Leave this detail and start making sleeves.

Sleeves

Knit around with double-pointed knitting needles 3. Cast on 55; 56; 60; 62; 64; 69 sts and make 4 rows of garter stitch. Place marker in the beginning of the row for the center of the bottom part of sleeve. Then, turn to stockinette stitch. In 8; 8; 6; 6; 8; 8 cm from the 1st row, increase 1 st from both sides of marker, making 2 sts out of 1 st for widening.

Repeat the increases with the interval of 2.5; 2.5; 2; 2; 1.5; 1.5 cm x 13; 13; 18; 17; 21; 20 times. Totally, 14; 14; 19; 18; 22; 21 increases. There are 83; 84; 98; 108; 111 sts in work. After 46; 46; 44; 44; 43; 43 cm from the total height of sleeve, bind off the central 8 sts of the bottom part of sleeve (4 sts from both sides of marker). There are 75; 76; 90; 90; 100; 103 sts on the knitting needles. Make the second sleeve in the same way and leave the details.

Yoke

At this stage, you should connect the previously made details. Make 1 row of knit sts on the main part, at the same time, transfer the sleeves sts to the same knitting needles. Totally, 324; 348; 396; 420; 468; 504 sts. Then, work with pattern A.1, repeat horizontal pattern x 27; 29; 33; 35; 39; 42 times. After making the vertical pattern repeat once, there are 270; 290; 330; 350; 390; 420 sts in work.

After that, work with pattern due to the scheme A.2, repeat the horizontal pattern x 27; 29; 33; 35; 39; 42 times. After making vertical pattern repeat once, you should get 216; 232; 264; 280; 312; 336 sts.

Then, work due to the scheme A.3, repeat the horizontal pattern x 27; 29; 33; 35; 39; 42 times. After making vertical pattern once, you should get 162; 174; 198; 210; 234; 252 sts.

Continue work due to the scheme A.4, repeat the horizontal pattern x 27; 29; 33; 35; 39; 42 times. After making vertical pattern repeat x 1; 1; 2; 2; 3; 3 times, turn to the pattern due to the scheme A.5. After making vertical pattern once, you should get 108; 116; 132; 140; 156; 168 sts.

Next row (RS): knit sts, making increases of 4; 8; 20; 24; 36; 44 sts. Totally, 104; 108; 112; 116; 120; 124 sts.

Assembly

Sew the sleeve cuts.
