You’ll Need:

250g of pink 100% cotton yarn;

Knitting needles 5.

Size: S.

Note: knit with 2 threads of yarn.

Used Patterns

Double rib: *1 knit st, yarn in front of work, slip 1 purl, yarn behind work*; repeat from * to *;

5 x 5 rib;

Main pattern (3 sts wide):

1st row (WS): knit;

2nd row: *knit3tog, don’t slip the sts from the LH needle, insert the RH needle in the 1st out of 3 sts on the LH needle, 1 knit st, knit2tog*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 1st and 2nd rows.

Stitches Control

16 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 55 sts and work with rib. In 24 cm from the set-up row, bind off 2 sts for raglan chamfers, then, decrease 10 x 1 st in every 2nd row after the first 2 sts and before the last 2 sts. In 32 cm from the set-up row, make 4 rows of double rib and bind off all the sts with Kitchener’s stitch.

Front

Cast on 56 sts and work with the main pattern. In 17 cm from the set-up row, make raglan chamfers in the same way as for the back. Then, make 4 rows of double rib and bind off the sts with Kitchener’s stitch.

Right Front

Cast on 24 sts and work with rib. In 6 cm from the set-up row, decrease 16 x 1 st in every 2nd row after the first 2 sts and before the last 2 sts from the left side. At the same time, in 11 cm from the set-up row, increase 2 x 1 st in every 8th row from the right side. In 24 cm from the set-up row, bind off the rest of the sts. For the strap, cast on 14 sts along the short end and make 33 cm of main pattern, then, bind off the sts.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Sleeves

Cast on 50 sts and work with main pattern. Decrease 10 x 1 st in every 2nd row after the first 2 sts and before the last 2 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers in 0.5 cm from the set-up row. In 9 cm from the set-up row, make 4 rows of double rib and bind off all the sts with Kitchener’s stitch.

Assembly

Make side and raglan seams.
