Used Patterns

• Stockinette stitch: 1 row of knit stitches, 1 row of purls by turn;
• 2 x 2 rib;
• Cross 8 stitches to the left: transfer 4 stitches to the auxiliary needle in front of work, knit 4 stitches, knit 4 stitches from the auxiliary needle;
• Cross 8 stitches to the right: transfer 4 stitches to the auxiliary needle behind work, knit 4 stitches, knit 4 stitches from the auxiliary needle.

Stitches Control

Stockinette stitch with knitting needles 4: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 94; 104; 116; 126; 138 stitches with knitting needles 4 and work with stockinette stitch to 15; 15; 16.5; 16.5; 18 cm. The last row of this stage is WS. Bind off 6; 7; 8; 9; 10 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows for the arm-holes. You will have 82; 90; 100; 108; 118 stitches. Decrease 1 stitch from both sides in the next row. Repeat such decreases every 2^nd row until you reach 72; 76; 84; 90; 96 stitches. After 19; 19; 20.5; 21.5; 23 cm from the first decrease for the arm-hole, bind off the stitches.

Left Front

Cast on 2 stitches with knitting needles 4.

1^st row: 1 knit stitch, 2 stitches out of 1 stitch – through upper and lower loops;

2^nd row: purls;

3^rd row: knit stitches to the last stitch, 2 stitches out of 1 stitch. Totally, 4 stitches.

Repeat 2^nd and 3^rd rows x 20; 26; 32; 38; 42 times. At the same time, at 15; 15; 16.5; 16.5; 18 cm height from the lower row, create arm-holes according to the description of the back. You should have 13; 16; 20; 24; 25 stitches left. Knit straight. Bind off the stitches for the arm-holes at 19; 19; 20.5; 21.5; 23 cm from the beginning of decreases.

Right Front

Make in reflection to the left front.

Sleeves

Cast on 82; 82; 86; 90; 94 stitches with knitting needles 4 and create 6.5 cm of 2 x 2 rib. Then, switch to stockinette stitch. Make 1.5; 1.5; 2.5; 4; 5 cm with this pattern. Bind off 6; 7; 8; 9; 10 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows of the sleeve cap. You will have 70; 68; 70; 72; 74 stitches left. Then, decrease 1 stitch from both sides in RS row until you have 60; 54; 54; 54; 52 stitches.

Now, decrease 1 stitch in every row from both sides until you have 16 stitches left. Bind off 2 stitches at the beginning of the next 4 rows.

Bind off the remaining 8 stitches.

Cord for the Left Front

Cast on 26 stitches with 2 threads of yarn and knitting needles 5.5.

1^st row: knit;

2^nd row: 8 purls, 6 knit stitches, 8 purls, 4 knit stitches;

3^rd-6^th rows: repeat 1^st-2^nd rows x twice;

7^th row: 4 knit stitches, cross 8 stitches to the left, 6 knit stitches, cross 8 stitches to the left;

8^th row: 8 purls, 6 knit stitches, 8 purls, 4 knit stitches.

Repeat 1^st-8^th rows to 68.5; 68.5; 71; 73.5; 76 cm height from the 1^st row. Transfer the stitches to the auxiliary needles.

Make the cord for the right front in reflection to the left, making cross 8 stitches to the right instead of to the left.

Assembly

Sew up the shoulders.

Sew the sleeves. Make sleeve and side seams.

Sew cords to the left and right front, and the bottom of the back.
