You'll Need:

400g; 450g; 550g; 600g of 100% cotton yarn (180m/50g);

Knitting needles 2.5;

Circle knitting needles 2.5;

Crochet hook 2.5;

Markers.

Sizes:

S; M; L; XL.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: according to schemes A and B.

Knit around according to scheme A. All the rows are stated on the scheme, read it from right to left.

Pay attention that you should make the last of the 3rd row in every odd pattern repeat (shown as a blank square in the scheme) and the 1st stitch of the next pattern repeat as knit2tog. Then, work according to the scheme.

Knit with straight/reversed rows according to scheme B. All the rows are stated on the scheme. Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows in reverse.

Make the last of the 3rd row in every odd pattern repeat (shown as a blank square on the scheme) and the 1st stitch of the next pattern repeat as knit2tog. Then, continue working according to the scheme. Repeat the vertical pattern = 22 rows the necessary number of times.

Stitches Control:

Main pattern: 30 stitches x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Start work from the bottom side and knit around. Cast on 272; 306; 340; 374 stitches on circle knitting needles. Close the row, placing markers on the 1st and 137th; 154th; 171st, 188th stitches. Side seam lines will follow under these stitches. Make 1 row of knit stitches and turn to scheme A. Complete the pattern, repeating it x 16; 18; 20; 22 times.

After knitting 33; 38.5; 38.5; 38.5 cm from the setup row (= 132; 154; 154; 154 rows), begin making decreases. Knit according to scheme A to the 4th stitch before the marked stitch, knit2tog, slip 1 knit stitch, 1 knit stitch, draw the slipped stitch through knit stitch. Make decreases accordingly after the second side seam. Repeat decreases 12 times with intervals of 5 rows, meaning every 6th row. There are 220; 254; 280; 322 stitches in work.

At 55; 61; 61; 67 cm (220; 242; 242; 268 rows) from the start of work, make the first 110; 127; 144; 161 stitches according to scheme B with straight/reversed row, preserving the previous stitches allocation. Leave the remaining 110; 127; 144; 161 stitches aside for the moment.

Front

Bind off 5 stitches x 1 from both sides for armholes, then 3 stitches x 1; 1; 2; 2 in every even row, 2 stitches x 0; 2; 3; 5, 1 stitch x 0; 3; 5; 8. Subsequently, bind off 1 stitch x 4; 3; 2; 1 in every 6th row from both sides. After all the decreases, you should have 86; 91; 96; 101 stitches remaining.

At 64; 71; 72; 79 cm height, bind off the central 24; 23; 24; 23 stitches for the neckhole line and finish each part from a separate skein.

At 73; 80; 81; 88 cm, bind off 8 stitches x 3 along the outer edge for shoulder chamfer; 9 stitches x 3, 9 stitches x 1, 10 stitches x 2, 10 stitches x 1, 11 stitches x 2. Create the second chamfer with decreases in the same way.

Back

Reintroduce the previously set aside 110; 127; 144; 161 stitches. Bind off 5 stitches x 1 from both sides for armholes, then continue with 3 stitches x 1; 1; 2; 2 in a row, 2 stitches x 0; 2; 3; 5, and repeats as necessary. Finally, bind off 1 stitch x 4; 3; 2; 1 in every 6th row. There will be 86; 91; 96; 101 stitches remaining in the work.

At 18; 19; 20; 21 cm from the armhole bottom, bind off the central 38; 37; 38; 37 stitches. Finish each part separately.

At 73; 80; 81; 88 cm, bind off 8 stitches x 3 in every even row along the outer edge for the shoulder line, followed by 8 stitches x 3; 9 stitches x 3; 9 stitches x 1; 10 stitches x 2; 10 stitches x 1; 11 stitches x 2. Create the second chamfer with decreases in reflection.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams, fastening the edges of the neckhole and armholes using the crochet hook as follows: start near the shoulder seam, fasten the yarn, 2 chain stitches, * 1 single crochet and 3 treble crochets from 1 base stitch, skip 3 stitches*; repeat from * to * and finish with a slip stitch in the upper chain stitch.

Make fringe.
