Detailed Crochet Instructions for Starlight Yarn Patterns

You’ll Need:

300 (350)g of bronze Linie 218 Starlight yarn (80% viscose, 20% polyester; 125m/50g);

50g of the same yarn, but in brown color;

Square:

For the 1^st square: make 6 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st. Then, work with circle rows according to the scheme.

Pattern for Placket:

Work with circle rows according to the scheme. Make 3^rd-7^th rows x once, make 3^rd, 5^th, 7^th rows with brown yarn, the rest of the rows with bronze yarn.

Colors Order:

* 1 brown row, 2 bronze rows, 1 brown row *.

Stitches Control:

1 square = 6.5 x 6.5 cm;

Pattern for placket: 26 sts x 16.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Single crochets: 26 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 36 (42) squares with bronze yarn and connect them in a piece of 6 x 6 (7 x 6) squares. Make side seams. Work with the pattern for the placket due to the colors order along the upper edge (the arrow indicates the middle of the front or back).

For the left strap, join the yarn with 1 slip st and work with single crochets according to the colors order.

In 32 cm = 80 rows from the beginning of the strap, finish your work. Make the second strap in the same way. Sew straps to the back. Fasten the upper edge between straps with 1 row of single crochets with brown yarn. Then, fasten the neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch.”
