​Elegant Bronze Top

You’ll need:

300 (350)g of bronze Linie 218 Starlight yarn (80% viscose, 20% polyester; 125m/50g);

50g of the same yarn, but in brown color;

Crochet hook 4,5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Square: for the 1^st square: make 6 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st. Then, work with circle rows due to the scheme. Make all the following squares in the same way, as the 1^st square, connect the, between one another with single crochets in the last row.

Pattern for placket: work with circle rows due to the scheme. Make 3^rd-7^th rows x once, make 3^rd, 5^th, 7^th rows with brown yarn, the rest rows – with bronze yarn.

Colorsorder: * 1 brownrow, 2 bronzerows, 1 brownrow*.

Stitches control: 1 square = 6,5 x 6,5 cm;

Pattern for placket: 26 sts x 16,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Single crochets: 26 st sx 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 36 (42) squares with bronze yarn and connect them in piece of 6 x 6 (7 x 6) squares. Make side seams. Work with pattern for placket due to the colors order along the upper edge (arrow is middle of front or back). For left strap, join the yarn with 1 slip st and work with single crochets due to the colors order.

In 32 cm = 80 rows from the beginning of strap, finish your work. Make the second strap in the same way. Sew straps to back. Fasten upper edge between straps with 1 row of single crochets with brown yarn. Then, fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch”.
