Knitting Instructions for a Stylish Garment Using Diva Batik Yarn


You’ll Need:
3 skeins of Diva Batik yarn;
Knitting needles 4.
Size:
S-M.
Used Patterns
- Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.
- 1 x 1 rib.
Instructions
Front and Back
Cast on 134 sts and work with 1 x 1 rib for 4 cm. Continue work with pattern due to the scheme. At 31 cm height, bind off 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st from the left side for arm-holes. At the same time, bind off 7 x 5 st from the right side, then, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 2 sts. At 60 cm height, bind off all shoulder sts.
Ruffle
Cast on 32 sts. Work with stockinette stitch. Knit 3 sts, turn, return to the beginning. Knit 6 sts, turn and return to the beginning. Knit 9 sts, turn and return to the beginning until all sts are knit. After knitting all sts, repeat the described actions. After making ruffle with the length equal to the length of neck-hole edge, bind off all sts. Sew ruffle to the neck-hole.
Placket for Arm-Hole
Cast on 152 sts. After making 3 cm of 1 x 1 rib, bind off all sts and sew placket to the arm-hole.
