How to Crochet a Beautiful Dress with Cotton Yarn

You’ll Need:
500g of white 100% cotton yarn;
Crochet hook 1.2.
Size:
M.
Instructions
Separate motifs with flowers in the center decorate the upper part of the dress. They are stated in a chessboard order on the pattern design, and they’re connected in the last row of each of them (see the scheme 1). For making arm-holes and an even edge of the bottom, you’ll need triangle motifs, which are half of the main motif. Make them due to the scheme 2.
At first, make a pattern design according to your measurements in natural size. In pic. 1, the details and motifs' places on the dress are shown.
Make the sample of motifs and match it with the picture. For changing it to a bigger or smaller size, adjust your crochet hook.
Make the motifs and connect them with one another, in the places marked with arrows. For this, make single crochet under the symmetry arch of 5 chain stitches of the neighboring square instead of the 3rd chain stitch of the arch.
Fasten the lower edge of the detail with 2 rows of single crochets, arm-holes, and neck-hole – according to the scheme 3.
Make the skirt according to the scheme 4 and sew it to the upper part of your dress. Make gussets widening by increasing the quantity of stitches in every pattern repeat.

Beautiful dress. Now if only my figure would cooperate I be wearing this beauty.
How long would your average person take to finish this dress?
It depends on many factors, like the speed of your work, free time etc. As for me, I'd make this dress for ages. LOL
