How to Make a Crochet Dress: Materials and Instructions

450g of 100% cotton yarn (500m/150g);

The size of the motif is 9 x 9 cm.

Back

Start making your dress with 25 motifs according to the scheme. Connect them with one another based on the pattern design.

Front

Make in the same way as the back and also connect the motifs into one complete piece.

Assembly of Upper Part

Make side seams by sewing up 3 motifs from each side. Create shoulder seams by sewing up 1 motif for each shoulder. Fasten your dress along the neck-hole with the last row of fringe.

Assembly of Bottom Part

Crochet around, starting with the bottom part of the front and back. Work according to scheme 1, crocheting the pattern repeat (*to*) 70 times to a height of 10 cm. Then, make the relief fringe as indicated in the scheme. Continue working according to scheme 2, repeating (*to*) 27 times for a height of 10 cm. Afterward, make fringe again.

Attach the yarn to the last row of scheme 2. Next, work according to scheme 1, repeating (*to*) 80 times for a height of 10 cm.

Then make the wavy fringe again. Attach the yarn to the last row of scheme 1. Continue working according to scheme 2, repeating (*to*) 31 times for a height of 10 cm. Finally, add fringe to complete your work.

Sleeves

Make 81 chain stitches plus 3 chain stitch increases. Follow the pattern according to scheme 1, repeating (*to*) 27 times. At the same time, make increases from both sides – 1 stitch x 5. At a height of 7 cm, bind off 4 stitches x 9. Complete your work at a height of 16 cm.

Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Dress Assembly

Sew the sleeves in place. Fasten them with relief wavy fringe.
