You’ll Need:

200g of orange Novita Kotivaki Huvila yarn (100% cotton; 332m/100g);

Or

200g of the same yarn, but in jeans color;

Crochet hook 2.5.

Size:

35 x 45 cm.

Stitches Control:

5 pattern repeats (30 sts) = 10.5 cm.

Main Detail

Make 2.

Make 108 chain sts and work with the main pattern in the following way:

1^st row: make 1 single crochet in the 9^th st from the crochet hook, make 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts of the set-up row, 1 double crochet in the next st, *3 chain sts, skip 2 sts of the set-up chain, 1 single crochet in the next st, 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts of the set-up chain, 1 double crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to * x 15 times. Continue work according to the scheme, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows. At 41 cm height after the 2^nd row of the scheme, make 7^th-9^th row of the scheme. Finish your work, cut the yarn and fasten off. Make the second detail in the same way.

Handles

Make 140 chain sts.
1^st row: 1 single crochet in the 2^nd st from the crochet hook, 1 single crochet in every st of the set-up chain.

2^nd row: 1 chain st increase, 1 single crochet in every crochet of the previous row.

Repeat the 2^nd row to 3 cm length of handle. Cut and fasten the yarn. Make the second handle in the same way.

Assembly

Make lower and side seams. Sew handles to the upper edge of the back at a 10 cm distance from side seams. For straps, make a cord of 150 cm long and insert it through the upper edge of the back.
