You’ll Need:

500g of sectional coloring Angora Gold yarn (80% acryl, 10% mohair, 10% wool; 550m/100g);

Crochet hook 2.

Instructions

Make 53 chain sts + 2 chain sts increase and make the first square. Make all squares according to the scheme.

Make the 1st row of the second square from the left side of the obtained square in the following way: * single crochet in the base of double crochet of the previous square, chain st*.

Make 1 row along the right side of the first square. Make the 2nd row with single crochets, then, work according to the scheme.

Make all the next squares in the same way.

Connect the sixth square with the second square, the eighth square with the fifth square, the eleventh square with the tenth square, and the thirteenth square with the eleventh square. Make the fifteenth square separately and connect it with the seventh square. There are 4 central triangles left and two edges.

For the central triangle, make 3 double crochets in the 1st stitch at the top of the square and work with double crochets, connecting the triangle with neighboring squares during the process.

For the 5th and 6th triangles, make stitches along the sides of 15 and 14 squares. Work with double crochets, decreasing 1 stitch from one side in every row. Make the triangle until there are no stitches left.

Fasten the ready-made shawl with 2 rows of single crochets.

It is one-color sectional yarn Angora Gold. You'll need approx. 5,5 skeins

What? I am having a difficult time understanding the instructions on this. Is there a video tutorial for it that I can follow? Picture instructions are not my thing and I simply don't understand the whole construction of the piece. This one needed to be written out and possibly pictures to accompany it. I can usually wrap my head around a «graph» pattern but this one has me stumped. Scheme??? What is that?
