Materials:

H (5.0 mm) crochet hook

590 yards of light/#3 weight yarn (I used 1 cake of Mandala Baby from Lion Brand Yarn in the “Narnia” colorway)

Yarn/tapestry needle

Scissors

Measuring Tape

Sizing:

13 inches wide

64 inches long

Beach Morning Crochet Shawl Pattern

Notes:

Easily change the width of the shawl by adjusting the multiple of the starting chain
Change the height of the shawl by working more rows of the pattern.

Beach Morning Crochet Shawl Pattern:

Ch 67 (to change the width, work in any odd multiple for the starting chain)

Row 1: Work (dc, ch 1) in the 5th ch from the hook. *Skip a chain then work (dc, ch 1) into the next chain. Repeat from * across until two chains remain. Skip the next chain, then work a dc into the last chain.

Row 2: Chain 4 and turn. Work a (dc, ch 1) into each ch 1 space across. Then to finish the row, work a dc into the top of the turning chain.

Repeat rows 2 until the shawl is as tall as you like! I worked the one shown until I used the entire yarn cake.

Finishing & Assembly:

Weave in any ends and your shawl is ready to wear!
